Steep Slope Excavation in Washington State Just North of Seattle, WA

When “a prominent business which shall remain nameless for privacy” decided to expand and build a new office, they had their sights set on a piece of land in Washington State, just north of Seattle. The location was perfect for their needs, but there was one major problem: the land was on a tremendous slope.

The business called several excavation companies, but none of them were confident enough to take on the project. The slope was too steep and the potential for landslides and other issues was too great. It seemed as though the business would have to give up on their dream location.

But then, they stumbled upon Atlantis Excavation. This company specialized in difficult and challenging excavation projects, and they were up for the task.

The excavation process was no easy feat. It required a lot of planning and precision. The first step was to create a detailed design and layout of the new office building. This ensured that the excavation would be done in a way that would not only make the building stable, but also make the most of the natural contours of the land.

The next step was to clear the land of any trees, rocks or other debris that could impede the excavation process. This was a time-consuming task, but it was necessary to ensure the safety of the workers and the success of the project.

Once the land was cleared, the excavation work began in earnest. The slope was so steep that special equipment had to be used to ensure the safety of the workers. This included excavators with long booms, which allowed the operators to reach the areas that were otherwise too difficult to access.

The excavation process was done in stages. The first stage was to cut into the slope and create a flat area for the foundation of the building. This was a critical step, as the foundation had to be stable and secure to ensure the safety of the building.

The next stage was to create the trenches for the foundation and the footings. This was a delicate operation, as the trenches had to be dug to the exact depth and width, and the footings had to be placed in the correct position.

Once the foundation and footings were complete, the excavation work shifted to the building site itself. The workers had to carefully remove soil and rock to make room for the building. This required a lot of skill and experience, as they had to ensure that the excavation was done in a way that would not destabilize the slope.

As the excavation progressed, the business watched with excitement as their new office took shape. The workers were making steady progress, and it was clear that the building was going to be beautiful.

Finally, the excavation work was complete. The foundation and footings were in place, and the building site was ready for construction. The business couldn’t be happier with the work that Atlantis Excavation had done. The company had done an amazing job, and had made the impossible possible.

The new commercial office building was a beautiful and functional space, and the business was proud to call it their own. And they knew that they had Atlantis Excavation to thank for making it all possible.

Overall, the business learned that when it comes to a challenging project like building on a slope, it’s important to find the right company for the job. Atlantis Excavation had the expertise, equipment, and experience to make it happen. And the final result was a beautiful and functional office building that the business and its employees could be proud of.
